DevOps for Compliance: Building Automated Compliance Pipelines for Cloud Security

Deepak Antiya is a seasoned information security and compliance professional with over a decade of experience. He currently serves as the Principal Regulatory Compliance Specialist at Oracle America Inc., a role he has held since November 2017. At Oracle, Deepak leads compliance efforts across the company’s cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and legacy platforms), ensuring adherence to frameworks such as SOC 1/2/3, HIPAA, ISO Series, and PCI DSS 3.2/4.0. He manages centralized audits and collaborates with engineering, legal, and security teams to align on regulatory requirements.

One of his key accomplishments includes leading Oracle SaaS’s FedRAMP IL5 and IRAP/Essential 8 certification programs on OCI. He also implements evidence automation using DevOps tools and native APIs across hybrid cloud environments. Deepak acts as a liaison during audits, using JIRA and Confluence to track audit statuses and mitigate risks effectively.

He performs pre-audit assessments to ensure continued compliance during environment changes and works with teams to assess and monitor periodic review controls. Before Oracle, Deepak was a Security and Compliance Specialist at ClearSlide, where he led SOC 2 audits, managed privacy certifications, and conducted risk assessments.

He began his career at Protiviti Inc. in Mumbai, conducting ISO 27001 audits and penetration tests for clients in healthcare, BFSI, and manufacturing. Deepak holds CISSP, CCSK, and Oracle Cloud certifications. He earned an MS in IT Management from Golden Gate University and a B.Tech in IT from NMIMS University. His technical acumen and strategic leadership make him a trusted expert in cloud security and compliance.
